Donna J. Atteberry

DONNA JEAN ATTEBERRY - 57, of Aurora, CO departed from this life on Sunday, December 12, 2010. She was born in January 1953 in Longmont, CO to Elmer C. and Mary Jane Von Feldt. She graduated from East High School in 1972. In July 1972 Donna married Michael Atteberry in Denver, Colorado. She had two children: David, born in 1974 and Marinda, born in 1976. She was a proud grandma to David and Melanieïéé½s three children: Scott, Luke and Cole. Donnaïéé½s favorite hobbies were rubber stamping, needlework, cooking/baking; especially making krautburgers and pizza for her family and friends. She enjoyed talking with her friends and family on the video phone. Donna enjoyed going on vacations and visiting new places, but her favorite vacations were those to Disneyland or Disney World. Many trips were taken with only family, but in recent years several trips were taken with a few close friends and family. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Donna faithfully loved and served our wonderful Lord and Savior since 1974. In 1980 our family moved to Birmingham, AL to attend Birmingham Bible School for the Deaf in order for Mike to become a preacher for the deaf. Upon graduating from BBSD in 1983 the family moved back to Denver and started working in the deaf ministry full time at Dahlia St. Church of Christ.
