Donna Anne Gale

Donna Anne Gale passed away the evening of June 11, 2009, following a 15-year battle with cancer. She was 49 years old. She was born March 7, 1960 in Yonkers, New York. Mrs. Gale graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Southern California. She lived in England for eight years, where she was a competitive dressage rider and professional model. She was married to Evan Robert Gale on June 24, 1995 and moved to Denver, Colorado in 1997. She worked as an accounting department manager at The TriZetto Group in Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Gale is survived by her husband, Evan; daughter, Autumn Bliss; and step-daughter, Shealyn Louise Gale. She is also survived by her brothers Michael and Robert Longo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Michael and Carole Longo. Mrs. Gale chose to donate her body to medical research. Her memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122 (one block to the west of Holly Street). Flowers are welcome, or the family requests donations in Donna's honor to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn.: Gift Management Service, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244. A granite memorial will be placed at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014, at a later date.
