Donna Mae Kruger

Donna Mae (Ammerman) Kruger was born May 9, 1939, the daughter of John and Viola (Lepler) Ammerman, in Rheiderland Township, Minnesota. She was baptized on July 16, 1939 at Bunde Christian Reformed Church, in Clara City, Minnesota. She was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran in Clara City, Minnesota. She was united in Marriage with Laurence ""Larry"" Kruger on May 2, 1958 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City, Minnesota. Donna enjoyed bowling, shopping, going to the movies and going ""up the hill."" She loved to spend time with all her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mom, sister, daughter, aunt, grandma and great-grandma. She was loved very much and will be missed by many. She is survived by her children, Vicky (husband, Mark) Ackerman, Laurie (husband, Aaron) Heier, all of Evergreen, Colorado; and Bryan (wife, Katherine) Kruger, of Blaine, Minnesota; her sister, Sandra (husband, Melvin) Wieber, of Evergreen; grandchildren, Blake (wife, Emily) Ackerman, Travis Ackerman, Lisa (husband, Luke) Hennings, Cory Heier, Bryan Christopher (wife, Shannon) Kruger, and Jonathan (wife, Bonnie) Kruger; great-grandchildren, Noah McKinzie, Logan Hennings, Caleb Hennings, Nadiya Kruger, Aleathea Kruger; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; and her parents, John & Viola. Donna's strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, sustained her during her last hours of her sojourn on earth. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011, from 5:00-7:00pm, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 10:30am, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (Small Chapel), 2100 N. Wads Blvd., Lakewood, CO. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO., at 12:15pm, area ""C"". Following the burial, a luncheon will be held back at the Church. Memorial donations may be made in Donna's name to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 N. Wads. Blvd., Lakewood, CO. 80214.
