Donna Jean Lancaster

Donna Jean Lancaster, 87, of Arvada passed away on January 16, 2020 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Arvada. Born on February 1, 1932 in Kansas, she was the daughter of Eugene and Eunice (Neill) Keene. Donna married Donald Lancaster in 1949 and together they shared over 70 years of marriage.

Donna worked as a homemaker, worked in Jeffco Public Schools and volunteered much of her time with the Salvation Army.

She loved to travel and see the world with her husband Don. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and cross-country skiing in the mountains of Colorado; golfing and swimming in Arizona in retirement. She loved spending time with family and friends and volunteering with the Salvation Army.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, her love for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Don, she is survived by her son, Steve; granddaughters, Kacie Ireland (Patrick), Janell Lopez (Mark); great-grandchildren, Kennedy Ireland, Kensington Ireland, Keene Ireland, Max Lopez, Jillian Lopez.

A Memorial Service to honor Donna's life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80^th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003.
