Donna Marie Lauer

Donna Marie Lauer, 54, of Littleton, Colorado, lost her long and courageous battle against breast cancer on November 10th. Donna's joy and love for life was contagious. She was always positive, always smiling, and never complained. She was loved by many and found a friend in everyone she met. Donna was born and raised in Denver and had a deep love for Colorado. She loved to dance and could often be found line dancing at one of her favorite country western hangouts. She also enjoyed helping others, planting flowers and shopping - especially at her local Goodwill. Donna retired from Century Link (previously Qwest) in 2012 after serving 34 years with the organization. She developed strong friendships with her work ""gals"" and looked forward to going to work every day because of them. There are not enough words to pay tribute to this amazing woman or to describe the loss we feel as family and friends. We will forever remember the example she set for us in a life well lived and we will carry her in our hearts always. She will be greatly missed. Donna was a lifelong Catholic with a deep faith who was preceded to Heaven by her parents, Leo and Pauline Lauer. She is survived by her brother Dennis, sisters Debra and Katie, niece Autumn and nephews Jeremy, Jason and Jake. Should friends desire, contributions can be made to Susan G.
