Donna Lewis

Donna Kay Lewis, 64, passed away on July 28, 2022. Donna was born on February 1, 1958 to Henry and Myrna Wagner of Roggen, CO. She was deemed to be “next to impossible” from the start and lived to never let that down. Raised on the family farm, Donna graduated from Weld Central High School in 1976 and went on to Parks Business College. Donna met Dudley Lewis at a Grange Hall dance on February 7, 1976 and moved to the city and were married on April 8, 1978. Blessed with 44 years of a beautiful marriage they had three daughters, Brandy, Kelly and Christy. Donna led a fulfilling life as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family, which was apparent every single day. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her daughters and grandchildren. Donna also loved camping, watching the flight of hummingbirds, swimming with sea turtles, and Broncos Football. She enjoyed working and her creative nature led to many, many crafting hobbies that were an inspiration to all of those who got to see her brilliance. Donna’s kindness, generosity, sense of humor and love will keep her alive in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Dudley, 69; her daughters, Brandy, 40 (husband Tad, parents to Jillian 6 & Ryan 3), Kelly, 39 (husband Mike, parents to Evan 10 & Emma 8), and Christy, 35 (husband Gabriel, parents to Tre 7 & Taylor 5). Donna is also survived by her brother, Ronald Wagner. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant Street Thornton, CO 80229. A true Celebration of Life will follow afterwards off-site.
