Donna Blake, M.D.

Donna Blake, M.D., 67, died April 24, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Aaron Gordon; mother of Joshua Gordon-Blake and Jesse Gordon-Blake; and sister of John Blake (Cindy Blake). Donna was born in Pueblo, CO to Marvin and Lucille Blake. She attended 5 Universities graduating with a Physical Therapy degree, a Masters in Physiology, and an M.D. Throughout her life she lived in and loved Pueblo, CO, Boulder, CO, Chicago, Madison, Morgantown, Denver, and Durango. Donna worked at the VA Medical Center for 23 years, retiring as Chief of the Dept. of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Donna's curiosity and tenacity applied to each facet of her life, including academics, dance, walking, medicine, cooking, her deep love of Christmas and especially her family and friends. A celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Denver Athletic Club, 1325 Glenarm Pl, Denver. There will be no viewing. Donna will be buried with Marvin and Lucille in Beulah.
