Donnette Frei

Lou Donnette Frei, 74, passed away suddenly August 22, 2011, in Broomfield, Colorado. She was born April 26, 1937, in Preston, Idaho, to Alvin Alonzo and Thora Cafferty Cahoon. She is preceded in death by her dear friend and companion Ralph Lloyd Frei, who died June 25, 2004. She dedicated her life to her family and by serving others as a nurse. She is survived by their nine children, Debi (Curtis) Reed of Lake Odesa, MI; Cheryl (Brett) Elison of Rochester, MN; Marilyn (Rob) White of Calgary, AB, Canada; Deniece (Steven White) Frei of Broomfield, CO; Michelle (Larry) Rasco of Manor, TX; Jean(Phil) Llacuna of Chesapeake, VA; Sandi (Myron) Hammond of Mesa, AZ; Jim (Cynthia) Frei of Sunol, CA; and Daniel (Joy) Frei of Syracuse, UT; proud grandmother of 42 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Donnette is also survived by a brother, Roland Cahoon of Layton, UT. and a sister Bonnie Ahrent of Hagerman, ID. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011, 10:00am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1250 Main Street, in Broomfield, Colorado. A viewing will be held prior to the service at the Church from 9:00-9:45am. Burial will be in the Broomfield County Commons Cemetery, at 9th & Sheridan.
