Dora Mary Montoya Brostrom

Dora Mary Montoya Brostrom, passed away September 11, 2011, in Thornton, Colorado. She was born November 26, 1937, in Denver, Colorado to Miguel and Mary Torrez Martinez. Dora married Charles Richard Montoya Sr. and they had five children, Denise, Bernadette, Lisa, Carla and Rick. Mr. Montoya passed away in 1981. She later married Stanley Brostrom who preceded her in death in 1998. Dora is survived by four of her five children, Bernadette Moya, Lisa Montoya, Carla Martinez and Rick Montoya; 8 grandchildren; 21 1/2 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eva Guillen and Grace Trujillo. In addition to her husbands, Dora was also preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Bartolo, and three siblings. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 15th, at 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 S. Grant Street, in Thornton, Colorado 80229. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado with her husband, Rich. The burial at Fort Logan is scheduled for Friday, October 14, 2011, 1:30pm, Shelter ""B"".
