Dora Lopez

Mrs. Dora Maria Lopez, 96, departed this life July 22, 2021 at her home.  A Thornton resident since 1962, she was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, and worked in housekeeping at Valley View Hospital for over 25 years.  She was born May 2, 1925 in El Llano, NM and is preceded in death by her husband, Joe R.B. Lopez; and brother, Odocio Medina.  Dora is survived by her brother, Emerson "Noche" Medina of Pueblo; children: Eydie Fults, Deborah Hodgson, Don Lopez, Rayna Medina and Rodney Lopez; numerous grand children, great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Rosary and Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham St., Thornton on August 6, 2021 at 10:30am.
