Dorothy Ann Brubaker

Dorothy A. Brubaker, 90, who resided in Westminster, CO for the last 30 years, died Monday, Jun 14, 2010. Prior to Colorado, she lived in Columbus, NE and Hot Springs, AR. Dorothy was born in Omaha, Nebraska on Oct. 26, 1919 to Louis and Lillian Peterson. Growing up near Carter Lake, she enjoyed the outdoor sports of swimming, boating, and ice skating. She married her husband Gilbert G. Brubaker in June 1951. Besides bird watching, gardening, and traveling, she loved being with and caring for her family. Her parents and her husband Gilbert preceded Dorothy in death. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Fusie, son-in-law John Fusie, brother Roy Peterson and his wife Juannelle, and her two grandchildren Brandon Fusie (Valerie), and Renee Fusie. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO.
