Dorothy Mae Ciortan

Dorothy Mae Ciortan, also known as Dolly, passed away on January 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love. She was born on May 4, 1930, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.

Dolly dedicated her life to the field of pharmacy as a Pharmaceutical Technician. Her commitment and expertise in her career were admired by colleagues and friends alike. She approached her work with diligence and compassion, always striving to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dolly cherished her role as a mother and wife. She found immense joy in nurturing her family with unwavering love and support. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around her role as a dedicated mother to her son, Mark Ciortan, daughter, Deborah Jivan, and late daughter, Rebecca McCracken.

In addition to being survived by her children, Dolly leaves behind four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She cherished these relationships dearly and found immense happiness in spending time with each generation. Dolly's love will continue to live on through their memories of her infectious laughter and wise words.

Dolly was predeceased by her beloved husband, William J. Ciortan, and daughter, Rebecca McCracken.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at service held on January 18th.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with Funeral service to follow at 2:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Southeast Denver/Aurora located at 11150 E Dartmouth Ave in Aurora, Colorado. A private burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock will follow services

Dolly's gentle spirit, loving nature, and unwavering care will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She has left an indelible mark on this world, and her legacy will continue to inspire acts of compassion and kindness for generations to come. May she rest in eternal peace.
