Dorothy Mae Davis was born in Detroit MI on Juy 30, 1928 to John Cook and Sarah Tiser. The oldest of 7 siblings, she was preceeded in death by, Arnold, Larry, Leon (Bo) and Evelyn. Surviving siblings are Lila Amerson, Freddi Cook and Theresa Cook. In her late teens she worked as a dietician. She later met Andrew Garfield Davis and they were married September 1948. Andrew was in the Air Force and they traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling, crocheting, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo and was a avid reader. She was preceeded in death by her husband in 1981 and survived by her 5 children, Valerie, Andrew II, Linda, Diana and Mary; 9 grandchidren: Andrew III, Nicole, Jason, Chantel, Dreton, Tera, Andre, Chamera and Hailey and 4 great grandchidren: Jazmyne (deceased), Kylie, Aubree and Hendrix.
