Dorothy J. Dismont

Dorothy Josephine Dismont was born June 23, 1938 to Joseph & Agnes Dvorak in Pierce NB. Dorothy went into the hands of God February 26, 2013. Dorothy is survived by her children, Barbara Widmark (Jon) Denver, Joseph Dismont Jr. (Teri) Breckenridge, Richard Dismont (Jodi) Las Vegas, and Theresa Dismont (Bob) Westminster. Her grandchildren Willow (Widmark)& Matt Martinac CO, Darius Dismont, (Great grandson Joseph) VT, Anduriel Widmark (Reece) CO, Jordan Dismont CO, and Jacob Dismont NV. Siblings, Edward Dvorak (Joyce), Rita Dreger (LeRoy), Theresa Maier (Steve), Joan Wimberly, Liz Stewart, Joseph Dvorak Jr. (Sandy), and Robert Dvorak (Joyce). In Addition Dorothy had numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Earl Dismont Sr., and siblings MaryAnn Venteicher, Donald Dvorak and Johnny Dvorak. Dorothy graduated Pierce High School in 1956, and moved to Denver, Colorado in 1957. Joe and Dorothy were married in Denver April 23, 1957, and moved to their home in Westminster in 1958, where she lived for over 50 years. Dorothy started her career in the restaurant supply industry in the late 60's, and worked in that industry until she had a major stroke in 2009. Dorothy enjoyed going to Black Hawk and Central City to play the slot machines. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, fishing, and gardening. Dorothy bowled, and was part of a pinnacle club for many years. Dorothy was very devoted to God, and found comfort in praying at the Adoration Chapel at Holy Trinity Catholic Church every evening after work. A visitation will be held Monday, March 11th at 6:30 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM, Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80003. A Mass will be held Tuesday, March 12th at 11:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 North Federal Blvd. Westminster, CO 80030. A reception will follow the mass at Holy Trinity Church.
