Dorothy Elaine Genser

Devoted wife and mother, passed away on October 10, 2011. She was was born in Gorman, (Potter County), SD, to Aaron and Mabel (Warn) Hagny. She was born into a loving family of nine children all raised on the family farm near Gettysburg, SD. She married Frank Henry Genser on May 21, 1948 in Denver, CO. She leaves behind her two children Carter Genser & his wife Mary and Christy Hartzler & her husband Tom, both of Montrose, CO; grandsons Dusty and Kevin Giles; step grandson Jay Hartzler; great grandsons DJ & Marque Giles and Kellyn Hartzler, all from the Denver area. A celebration of her life will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 11500 E. Iliff Ave., in Aurora on Saturday, October 15, at 1 PM. We will miss her. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado, PO Box 1804, Montrose, CO 81402.
