Dorothy ""Dotty"" Hill April 23, 1925 â April 2, 2015 Dorothy ""Dotty"" Hill, wife of Allen ""Al"" Hill; Mother of Richard (Ellen) Jamison, Tom (Patty) Jamison, Mary (Russ) Herre, John (Cindy) Hill, Tim Hill; and Grandmother of eleven beloved grandchildren and twenty adored great-grandchildren. A light to all who met her and an inspiration to her friends and family, she will be missed by those she left but welcomed in Heaven by her parents James and Elva Kirwan, her sister Mary Hauber, her brother Jim Kirwan, her son Tom and many others who await. When she was 2 years old Charles Lindbergh flew the Atlantic. As she lay dying, men were planning a trip to Mars. Her life was long and eventful. In 1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. In 1942 she married Glen (Jamey) Jamison and in 1943 their first child, a son, was born. In 1944 Jamey was killed in the Battle of the Bulge. In 1945 the first A-bomb was detonated and their second son was born. She was 19 years old. There were still 70 years to go.
