Dorothy Marie Kenehan

Dorothy M. Kenehan, 88, of Littleton, passed away on January 4th. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Emil and Rose (nee Barry) Janousek.

She graduated from the University of Nebraska with her degree in elementary education. Dorothy moved to Denver to teach and that is where she became the beloved wife of John C. Kenehan who preceded her in death. Dorothy leaves behind her children, Michael (Deborah), Tracey (Craig) and Barry, and her grandchildren, Cecilia, Katelynne, Daniel and Olivia. She also leaves her brothers, Jerry (Nancy) and Richard (Victoria-deceased), and sister, Rosemary (Gary), along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, caretaker and friend and will be missed dearly by those who knew her. There will be a visitation at 6pm and rosary at 7pm on January 22nd at Horan and McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, 80227. The funeral will be held at 10:30am on the 23rd at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave., Littleton 80128, followed by burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
