Dorothy Jean McGill

Dorothy, age 93, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2011. She was born on January 7, 1918 in Dawson, Nebraska to Philomena and Dominic O'Grady. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. McGill, MD; sisters Mary Conrad, Evelyn Churchwell and Jan Ann Shea; and daughters Anne McGill Burford and Dorothy McGill. Dorothy is survived by her children Mary Edwards of Severna Park, Maryland, Theresa Peace of Lincoln, Nebraska, Veronica Urban of Santa Cruz, California, Rosie Binge of Centennial, Colorado and Joseph McGill of Frisco, Texas. She was the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and aunt to 20 nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011, 7:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 South Colorado Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 30, 10:00 a.m., at Mother of God, 475 Logan Street, in Denver, Colorado, followed by a Reception to celebrate her glorious life.
