Dorothy P. Ridinger

Passed away May 27, 2015 at the age of 93. Survived by son, James (Kemilou) Pomplun; 4 granddaughters: Jennifer Pomplun (Bruce Gutherie), Kimberly Lucas, Sheryl (Mike) Violett, and Lori (Brian) Walters; 9 great-grandchildren: Austin Bannon, Tanner & Skyler Lucas, Justin & Jason Violett, and Matthew, Caleb, Hanna and Seth Walters. A member of Messiah Lutheran Church for over 6 decades, Dorothy, or Mimi, as she is known by her family, was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born on a farm in South Dakota she lived in Denver Colorado for most of her life, retired from United Bank of Denver as Senior Investment Representative at 65 years young, and spent the rest of her active life traveling and taking care of loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Private interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Memorial Service Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11am at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1750 Colorado Blvd, Denver. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
