Dorothy A. Zarlengo

Dorothy, age 85, of Lakewood, passed away December 30, 2009. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank; son, Gary (Toni Francis) Zarlengo and daughter, Terri (Brent) Johnson; grandchildren, Keri (Nathan), Grant (Alyssa), Michael, Jennifer; great grandchildren, Camryn & Alayna. Her career began as an operator for Mountain Bell. Her 38 year career culminated as a Manager with Qwest. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends in retirement. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and managed the candy sales that raised money to benefit childrens charities. A Public Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 6 from 3:00 to 6:00 in the evening at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood. A Funeral Service for Dorothy will take place Thursday, January 7, at 12:00 in the afternoon at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd. in Denver. Burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery will take place immediately following the Service at Shelter ""B"".
