Dottie R. Naughton December 3, 1941-November 3, 2010 Dottie was born in Pierre, South Dakota to Dorothye F. Slupe (Lewis) and Raymond Slupe. She attended Washington High School in Souix Falls, South Dakota. She married Arvid Earl Ervin in 1960 and moved to Denver. They had four children, Autumn Ervin (Denver), Troy Ervin (Durango), Shari Dooley (Bailey), Jamie Ervin (Durango). They divorced and Dottie married (the late) Peter Naughton in 1968, they had two children, Sean Naughton (deceased), Shannon Naughton-Romero (Denver). She had nine Grandchildren, Zachary, Steven, Raeleigh, Danielle, Chelsea, Justin, Jordyn, Autumn, Mickey. She had five Great Grandchildren, Skye, Geovanni, Lilahcoy, Madison, MaKenna. She also leaves behind other beloved family members and many friends. Dottie was quite the entrepreneur. She owned and operated many businesses from a flower shop to restraurants. She managed a Village Inn for many years. In 1990 she opened her own restraurant. She delivered multi-list books throughtout the Denver area. She and her husband, Pete, enjoyed driving semi-trailer trucks cross country and also participated in moto-cross racing and enduro riding with the family. Dottie was also an accomplished, avid bowler. Other hobbies included traveling the globe, playing cards and cribbage, ""going up the hill,"" and spending time in Las Vegas. Dottie's love of her children gave her strength to persevere through life's challenges (as she had many) by sharing her wisdom, sense of humor and endless generosity.
