WILDER, DOUGLAS R., SR. Douglas R. Wilder, Sr., 62, of Broomfield; Recently retired Assistant Chief of the Denver Fire Dept. Douglas is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda. Mentor and Father to Doug Wilder Jr. and his wife Michelle, Toni Bower and her husband Todd, Chris Wilder and his wife Pam. The spoiling Grandfather to Brian and Brooke Bower, Jordan, Douglas III, and Tiana Wilder. Preceded in death by his parents Ken and Fae Wilder. Survived by his brothers, Ken Wilder and his wife Kay, Fred Wilder and his wife Terrie; Father-in-law to Anthony Canino; in-laws: Greg Canino and his wife Gina, Gina Kemper and her husband Burt, Russ Canino; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doug proudly served in the Marine Corp. And then spent 36 successful years with the Denver Fire Dept. He enjoyed having coffee with his family and friends and playing with his grandchildren. A Rosary will be held Friday at 7PM with a Funeral Mass Saturday at 9:30 AM, both at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo Street. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
