John Edward Biddinger passed away on October 29, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Born and raised in Ohio, Dr. Biddinger attended Xavier University in Cincinnati and the University of Michigan School of Medicine. After medical school, he trained as a psychiatrist and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He and his wife, Terry, settled in the Denver area in 1969 where they raised two children. Dr. Biddinger dedicated his career to improving mental health through both his private practice in the Denver area and through his service at the Veterans Administration hospital for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, his children Anne and Paul, their spouses Greg Schlessinger and Sudha Biddinger, and five grandchildren. Funeral Mass held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2pm. Private Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
