Dr. Robert B. Callahan

Robert (Bob), 78, originally from Butler, PA, devoted his life to his family, his faith, and the treatment of the mentally ill, including children, as a clinical psychiatrist for 36 years. Robert is survived by his spouse of 52 years, Mary Ann, sons Msgr. Steven Callahan of San Diego, Dr. David (Mary) Callahan of St. Louis, Robert II (Elizabeth) and Brian (Noreen) of Denver, and daughters Kathe (Mark) Kuna of Madison, WI, Dr. Susan (George) Callahan-Grubaugh and Jeanne (Chris) Kopp of Denver. Robert is also survived by a sister, Helen Callahan, in Prospect, PA, and 19 grandchildren. Funeral Mass at Risen Christ Church, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy. on Monday at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter, 455 Sherman St., #500, Denver 80203 and-or Catholic Charities, 2525 W.
