Dufredo Vigil

Dufredo Joseph Vigil was born on September 7, 1953 at 12:39am to Leofredo Vigil and Ramona Mares of Pueblo, CO. He graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1972 then attended CU Boulder where he studied psychology. He then married Alice Arlene Alire in Denver 1982 and they had 3 children, Bozley, Joshua and Jeremiah. Leo worked at Martin Marietta, Moore Lumber in Bailey, CO and Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant where he held a security clearance then later retired from. Leo very much enjoyed real estate where he did “fix-n-flips”. He also played in several bands as a master bassist and vocalist and even a band leader. He played in many venues and state fairs throughout Colorado including Taste of Colorado and  Mile High Flea Market. He was able to perform in Memphis, Florida and New Mexico. He enjoyed talking to people on the phone and walking on the beach with his wife. He loved going to jam sessions, dressing up as Santa Claus and visiting with family & friends. Leo was often known to help people in need and enjoyed mentoring. He was a very funny man and considered a comedian. He retired and settled in one of his most enjoyed places, Palm Bay, FL. Dufredo “Junior” Vigil is survived by his wife Arlene, their children, Bozley (Yamel), Joshua (Amber) and Jeremiah. Grandchildren Lily, Bailey, Diobelys, Jack, Zack and Dario. His siblings Niceto, Joann, Idene, Orley, Esperanza, Celia, Arthur, Tommy, Auggie, and many nephews and nieces. Leo will be sorely missed by his family and many many friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM Until 4:00PM and then again starting at 5:30PM until 8:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 4:00PM also at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood.
