E. Lucile Igou

Lucile Igou, age 86, a Colorado native, departed September 5, 2011 surrounded by her family. Secretary for the State of Colorado government in Denver and La Junta, retiring in Montrose. She enjoyed gardening, walking, travel, swimming, being a volunteer reader at elementary schools and involved with her family. She is survived by her children, Linda (Richard) Fouts, Marie (Don) Cacciatore, Tom (Nancy) Spirek and Ray Spirek; grandmother of, Lana Thompson and her husband ED, Robert Wyatt and his wife Rebecca, James Wyatt and his wife Beth, Karen Fouts, James Cacciatore and his wife Lori, Merlin Cacciatore and his wife Christy, Royal Spirek, Lee Goodrich, Jennifer Goodrich, Steven Spirek and Sarah Spirek; great- grandmother of, Edward Thompson, Casey Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Kyncaid Wyatt, Chelsea Monahan, Chyenne Wyatt, Alythya Wyatt, Trumyn Wyatt, Damian Cacciatore, Trevor Cacciatore, Shantih Fouts, Jacob Fouts and Alexander Fouts; great great grandmother of, Sophia Hansen, Anibelle Bass; step mother of, Shirlee Clark and Ruth Gehrtz and their families; sisters, Helen Weidenfield, Mary Bowham, Marian Jones, Hazel Jensen and Dorothy Garlick; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hawkins. Preceded in death by her husband, Gene Igou; brother, Roger Hawkins; and grandson, Allen Spirek. Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM, McCarroll Bible Church, 391 South Holly Street, Denver, Colorado. Committal Service Sunday, September 18, 2011, 1:00PM, Hugo Cemetery in Hugo, Colorado.
