Upon Helen's death in July of 2015, Earl lived the last few months of his life in a private care-giving home. Logan National Cemetery will include full military honors and a commemorative card, decorated with a flag and an eagle that reads, ""They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up on wings as an eagle. They will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint."" Isaiah 40:31.
