Eddie L. Queen SR went home to be with his personal Lord and Savior on the afternoon of February 13, 2020

🕊 THE MAN – THE MYTH – THE LEGEND – 🕊

Eddie received an invite from his personal Lord and Savior to climb the stairway to heaven -step by step to a new beginning and have eternal life. His newly accepted mission takes him to a place where he will rejoice- have eternal peace and a new life in the heavens.

SGT. Queen served in the United States Army and retired from the United States Air Force Academy as a Civil Engineer where he gave four decades of service to his country. Eddie was also profoundly committed to his role as Vice President of AFGE Local 1867.

SGT. Queen proudly received numerous military honors and wore many hats of service.

Eddie is survived by his wife- Josefine Queen,

His daughters Angel, and Stephanie and sons James and Matthew.

Eddie III – honorary grandson as well as a brother Freddie- sisters Mildred, Carrie, Gail, Doris and Carolyn, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Eddie deeply admired his wife – he loved to dance on the Gypsea Queen and reminisce with friends and loved ones. He enjoyed fishing, boating and also was honored to ride his Harley to the Bikers Toy Run and the yearly POW-MIA run to honor fallen heroes.

Eddie left detailed instruction for his wife and children to celebrate his life – to be joyful- to serve God faithfully and to be proud of his new mission in heaven.

He is dearly loved and will be heart-fully missed by many.

His memory and legend lives on for eternity.

Per Eddies request-Cremation has taken place.
