Edgar I. Woods

WOODS, EDGAR I. Mr. Edgar I. Woods, aged 82, passed away July 25, 2003 at Quality of Life Home in Lakewood, Colorado. Mr. Woods was born in Kremmling, Colorado. He graduated in 1939 from Kremmling High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He engaged in ranching with his father, Wayne Woods and mother Elizabeth Woods. He married Vesta Troyer in 1955 and was married 35 years until his wife passed away in 1990. Mr. Woods continued ranching in Burlington, Wyoming until his father passed away. Edgar moved to Denver where he worked for the Colorado State Parks Department until retirement. He is survived by a sister, June M. Duerr and her husband, Hans Duerr from Little Rock, AR, along with his niece, Donna Duerr from Denver and a nephew, David W. Duerr, from Little Rock, AR, and by great-nephew, Maxwell Duerr. Funeral arrangements are with Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Boulevard (at Mississippi - East of I-25). Viewing is at Horan & McConaty on July 29, 2003 from 4:00-6:30 p.m., followed by a Vespers service at 7:00 p.m. at Saint Marks Parish located at 1401 S. Vine St. Funeral Requiem Mass will be held at St. Marks on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., Area 'A', Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 3698 Sheridan Blvd.
