Edith R. McDonough, 88, of Denver died June 2, 2010. She was a member of the first group of women hired to be lifeguards by the City of Denver and she received a 60 year service pin from the American Red Cross. She encouraged and helped organize the Senior Olympic Games in Wyoming. She is survived by her son, Robert, Jr.; grandchildren, Hilary Chouinard, Padraic, Caitlin and Mary McDonough; and great granddaughter, Cassidy Nicks. Her husband, Robert, Sr., and daughter, Amy, preceded her in death. Funeral Mass, Monday, 11am, Spirit of Christ Catholic Community, 7400 W. 80th Ave. Interment, Tuesday, 1pm, Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, Evansville, WY.
