Edward T. Akerlund

Edward T. ""Ted"" Akerlund, age 80, resident of Littleton, CO., passed away on August 28, 2015. Ted is retired a Colonel from the United States Air Force and worked for Lockheed Martin as a software engineer. Ted was a devoted husband, survived by Kathryn, his wife of 57 years. He is a loving father and grandfather, also survived by his son, Jim, daughters Carol (John) Rapp and Sue (John) Culton, and grandchildren Jace Akerlund, Jeremy Rapp, Natalie Rapp, Eryn Culton and Hans Culton. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 8 at 11:00am, preceded by a visitation from 9:00am - 11:00am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO. Interment with full Air Force Military Honors will follow at 1:00 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area A.
