Edward E. Armstrong

Edward E. Armstrong passed away May 19. He was born Jan. 20, 1937. He was a Denver native and lifelong resident of the Potter Highlands area. He graduated from North High School in 1955 and served two years in the army specializing in guided missiles. Mr. Armstrong retired from the Denver Public Schools where he worked first as a custodian and then in security. He spent his leisure time gardening and traveling the back roads and towns of Colorado. Mr. Armstrong married Claudette F. Kenney on Sept. 7, 1958, in New York. She passed away March 5, 2005. He is survived by his son, Michael E., Denver; Sharon Armstrong Cain, Denver, and Mary H. Armstrong, Arvada, and his brother Robert Armstrong, Arvada. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 4, from 11am – 3pm at the Schleiter Recreation Center at Berkeley Lake, 46th & Sheridan, Denver.
