Edward G. Duckworth

Edward G. Duckworth was born March 2, 1921 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. After Edward graduated from the University of Maine, he served in the Air Force in the South Pacific. After the war he worked as a geologist for the USGS in Denver. In 1947 he married Patricia Lynch of Longmont, Colorado. They have three children, Bruce (Karen), Brent (Corinne), and Marla Jean and 4 grandchildren, Erik, June, Nick and Jimmy, and one great-grandchild. In 1952 Edward graduated from the University of Denver School of Law. He practiced law for a time in Ft. Collins and then took a position with the U.S. government where he developed information retrieval on the computer. He and Patricia celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last April. Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Friday, September 7 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2375 East Arizona Avenue, Denver 80210. Committal Service will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
