Edward Eckhardt Jr.

Edward Eckhardt Jr., 72 of Pueblo West Colorado passed away on December 29th, 2021.  Born in Roggen Colorado on October 1st, 1949.  Beloved husband, father and grandfather he was survived by his wife of 54 years, Regina Eckhardt, 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Ed lived in the Denver Metro area the majority of his life.  He retired from Xcel Energy in 2008 after 35 years of service.  Ed loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed traveling with his wife.  They enjoyed many trips in their fifth wheel, seeing the U.S. and many countries on their way to the Panama Canal.  Many winters were spent in Texas where he loved to fish in the Gulf.

Viewing will be January 7th, beginning at 4:00pm at Horan & McConaty in Arvada and the Rosary will begin at 7:00pm.

Mass will be on January 8th at 11:00am at Saint Isidore Catholic church in Watkins, Colorado.  Interment to follow immediately at the adjoining cemetery.  Reception will be in the church hall.
