Edward Patrick Herrera

Son, brother, husband, father, grandfather. Edward passed surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday evening, November 15,2023 at the age of 57.

Edward was the middle child born May 11,1966 to Anthony and Jennie Herrera in Denver, Colorado. Edward grew up in Denver alongside his three brothers, Paul, Vincent and Jimmy. 

Growing up, Edward developed a passion for music. He taught himself to read music and play in the middle school band as a guitarist. He also had a passion for drawing and took architecture classes which steered him in the direction of a career in engineering. 

In the summer of 1984, Edward found the love of his life, Lisa. In 1986, they embarked on a lifelong journey together as they exchanged vows in marriage. Their enduring love story became a cornerstone of Edward's rich and meaningful life.

Throughout his adult life, Edward showcased his remarkable guitar talent by joining a band, where he harmonized with his youngest brother and dear friends. Together, they created music that resonated with joy and passion, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to experience their performances.

Edward's warmth extended beyond humans; he was a dedicated dog lover, and his furry companions reciprocated that love wholeheartedly. His connection with his canine friends added an extra layer of joy and loyalty to his life, creating cherished memories filled with wagging tails and unconditional love.

Edward is preceded in death by his mother, Jennie and sister, Caroline. He leaves behind a lasting legacy through his two beloved children, a daughter, [Amanda,(Christopher)], a son, [Brian], and his cherished grandson, Austin. His love and creativity will continue to echo through the generations he touched.
