Edward R. Hoffman, 86, of Denver, died Thursday, January 19, 2006 peacefully at home. He was born in Akron, OH in 1919. He served in World War II from 1942-1946. He was a flight instructor for United Airlines and retired with 42 years of service in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 29 years; 11 children, Greg, Christine(Don), Katie, Tony(Dawn), Connie(Leonard), Eddie, Charlotte, Carla(Maurice), Candy(Loyd) and Teena; 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, January 27, 2006, 11:00 AM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. with interment at 1:00 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. A reception will be held at 3:00 PM at Windsor Gardens Assoc. Community Center, Centerpoint Room, 300 S. Clinton, Denver, CO.
