Edward J. Hunter

Edward Hunter was born in Denver on July 9, 1933 to Alexander & Hilda (Hofflander) Hunter. Eddie attended St. Francis Catholic Schools, Graduating in 1951. He attended college before he went to trade school to become a pipefitter. He worked as a pipefitter for 52 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local #208. He married Shirley E. Dowe February 14, 1958 in Denver. They had 3 daughters; Jenni (Butch) Burger, Terri (Clark) House, Jackie (Paul) LoNigro. He loved rebuilding & modifying classic cars. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He was the proud grandfather of Tim Dyer, Eric Burger, Matt, Leesa & Megan House, Michael, Marissa, Katie, & Abbie LoNigro. Ed is also survived by his brother Bill Hunter & Sister Mary Hunter. He was preceded in death by wife Shirley, Parents Alexander and Hilda (Hofflander) Hunter & his brother Jim Hunter. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Following Mr. Hunter's wishes, no services were held.
