Edward J. McGann

Edward Joseph McGann was born in Denver, Colorado on July 5, 1930 to John Edward McGann and Agnes C. (Hutton) McGann, and passed away in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on December 30, 2016 at age 86. He was married to Shirley Jean (Huffman) McGann, who preceded him in death on April 6, 2006. Edward served in the U.S. Navy, and was a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office. He is survived by his children, Chalaine Willette, Ken Willette, Jr. and Mary Ann (Lester) Dady, his sister Geraldine (Roy) Hankle, grandchildren Nikole Thompson, Corey (Lindsey) Willette and Lyndsy Willette and his great-grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Gabriel, Logan, Jessi and Arianna, and numerous nieces and nephews of the McGann family. Edward was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene, John and Bernie McGann, and his sister Dolores McGann. Visitation will be Sunday, January 8th, at 4PM. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 5PM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 9th, 9:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica Street. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
