Edward Ruf

JUNE 30, 1923 - JAN. 6, 2013 89, of Denver. Survived by Virginia ""Ginny"", his wife of 65 years; one brother Ralph of Riverside, CA; his children Randy (Linda), Rick (Tina), Roger (Kathy), and Lorraine (Tim) Capra; grandchildren Rachelle (Paul) Boespflug, Sonya (Juan) Diaz, Holly Ruf, Tyler (Mindi) Ruf, John Ruf, Gianmarco Capra; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Edward was a auto body mechanic for over 60 years, a member of Blessed Sacrament parish over 55 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 60 years, and was a member of the Fourth Degree. He honorably served his country in World War II in The United States Army from 1944 to 1946 in General Patton's 3rd Army. Recitation of the Rosary 7:00 PM Wednesday, with a Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Thursday, both at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4900 Montview Blvd. Military honors 9:30 AM Friday, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
