Edward Vincent Smith

Edward V. Smith, age 87, passed away September 23, 2013. He was born July 27, 1926 in New Britain, Connecticut to Vincent & Lilian Smith. Edward is survived by his wife, Shirley; children Bob (Jodi) Smith, Mark Smith, Ed (Sue) Smith, John (Michelle) Smith, David (the late Trish Smith) Smith, Christy (Kirk) Pierce, Matt (Karen) Smith, and Phil (Wendy) Smith; 15 grandchildren and a sister Connie. A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 5:00 in the afternoon with viewing one hour prior at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., in Aurora. The funeral mass will take place on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10:00 in the morning at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Ave., in Aurora with burial following at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
