Edward Owen Stevens

Ed was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 27, 1943. His parents Paul and Thelma Guinn, his brothers Glen and Paul and sister Cathy enjoyed close family times with the many relatives in the area. He moved to Colorado in 1967. After two years in the Army he joined the Colorado State Patrol in 1971. He retired as a Sergeant after 25 years. Ed and Kathy were married in 1969 and just celebrated their 40th anniversary. He was a great Dad to Sherri and Greg and was so happy to become a Grandfather to Clayton, Ryan and Jake. Ed enjoyed photography his entire life and found special joy in photographing nature and wildlife. He shared his love of trains with his grandsons and was considered the official computer support desk for all friends and family. He touched so many lives and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25th from 4:00pm to 7:00. The funeral service will be Friday, November 27th, 10:30am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery. A reception will follow at Pinehurst Country Club.
