Edwin Eugene Berry

Edwin "Bud" Berry, 75, of Lakewood passed away September 17, 2006 surrounded by his family in his home in Lakewood. Bud was preceded in death by his wife Sue. He is survived by his three children; Bill (wife Susie), Greg, and Kathy Burrows; 8 grandchildren Pat (wife Shawntae), Steve, Nichole, Tiffany, Samantha, Mickal Burrows, Briana Burrows and Thomas Burrows; brothers' Bob (wife Peg) of San Antonio and Bill. Bud was born on June 24, 1931 in Monarch/Sheridan Wyoming. His family moved from Wyoming to California when he was 9 years old and after a very short stay they moved back to Monarch Wyoming. At the age of 12 the family (all but brother Bob) moved to Lakewood, Colorado. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1949. After high school he joined the Air Force and served in the Korean War. Following his enlistment he married Sue Ann Atchison on March 30, 1957. Bud hired on at Coors Brewing Co in 1959 and worked there until his retirement in 1992. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial donations to be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Lutheran Hospice.
