Edwin Mangelsen

Edwin (Ed) Mangelsen was born Oct. 8, 1938 in Central City, NE. He passed from this world January 18, 2023 at his home in Omaha, NE. He graduated from the University of Nebraska  with a degree in Agricultural Engineering & used his skills throughout his life. He was preceded in death by wife Ann, son Russell Tarver, his parents and 2 brothers. He is survived by his children Jim (Christie), Debra Wild (Christian), Mary, Dee Hartman (Mark) and Carrie Turner (Dale), his sister Betty Cemper and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donations in his honor may be made to Parsons House 14325 Eagle Run Dr. Omaha, NE 68164 or the American Parkinson's Disease Association. A celebration of life will be held at Hope UMC 5101 S. Dayton St. Greenwood Village, CO on February 25 at 4:00pm
