Edwin C. Rowland, age 78, retired Carpenter, of Lakewood. Husband of Mae; father of Brian & Linda Wyatt. Memorial Service Monday, 4:00 P.M., 1st Presbyterian Church of Lakewood, 8210 West 10th Ave. Edwin Clare Rowland, age 78, of Lakewood, passed away August 11, 2003 in Denver Colorado. A Memorial Service will be held at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Lakewood, 8210 West 10th Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado, Monday, August 18, 2003 at 4:00 P.M. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. Edwin was born on September 28, 1924 in Long Beach, California to Robert & Clara Rowland. He graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1941. He served as a Sgt. In the United States Army Air Corps during WWII from 1943 to 1946. On July 2, 1960, Edwin married Mae Barrus. Edwin was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed participating in the Antique Tool Club of Colorado as well as four wheeling and exploring ghost towns of the Colorado mountains, restoring antique tools, furniture and pump organs. Edwin is survived by his Wife Mae Rowland of Lakewood; Son Brian Rowland of Denver; Daughter Linda Wyatt of Castle Rock; Siblings Margaret Ericson of Denver; Robert H. Rowland, Jr. of Lake Tahoe, David A. Rowland of Dallas; Betty Jean Butler of Eaton; Grandfather of Dalen & Carrie Wyatt both of Denver.
