Eileen Marian Fricke, at a strong 81 years old, left this
world on February 24, 2021, after surviving covid and a
long fight with Alzheimer's.
She was born on December 5, 1939 to James Edward
Kramar and Marian Eileen Kramar (Vondracek) in
Schuyler, Nebraska. She graduated Schuyler High
School in 1957, then went to Lincoln School of
Commerce where she finished a secretarial course. She
married twice. Once in 1958 (a marriage that produced
3 sons and a daughter,) and again in 1986. She lived in
many places in Nebraska, including Fremont, Ayr, and
Pauline, as well as Sioux City, Iowa, followed by homes
in Colorado in Westcliffe, Rocky Ford, Avondale, Denver,
Lakewood, and her final home in Brighton.
She spent much of her life heavily involved in church
activities. She loved watching movies musicals and
westerns. She read many autobiographies and
appreciated the beauty of the world, including a good
cry, falling snow, starry night skies, and sunrises. She
worked many places, enjoying a long time as a
proofreader at the Hastings, Nebraska newspaper, the
Hastings Tribune (before spell check existed!) She
followed that with a fresh career later in life as a QMAP
at assisted living facilities in Westcliffe and Rocky Ford,
before finally retiring when moving to Avondale. After
moving to the Denver area in 2016, she spent her days
enjoying time with friends and family, along with
resurrecting her talent for coloring. She loved people,
enjoyed every aspect of life, and thought of nothing but
keeping all those around her happy. Her smile and laugh
brightened every soul she touched.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father,
brother Ed Kramar, and Sister-in-Law Dorothy Kramar
(Sladek.) She is survived by sister Mary Jo Rutt (Kramar)
and Brother-in-Law Dale Rutt, her children James Muhle
(Jacki,) Michael Muhle, Mari Lyn Muhle, and Patrick
Muhle, grandchildren Jordon, Shealee, Cole, Lane,
Christine, and Faith, and 14 great grandchildren.
She will be loved and missed daily.
Feel free to share a message on her tribute wall.
In the summer of 2022, we will spread her ashes in
Westcliffe, Colorado, where she woke up daily to
sunshine, mountain views, a job she loved, a home she
adored, and greeted life with a smile I will never forget.
