Eileen Ghering

Eileen Ghering, 86, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on Friday, April 9, peacefully with her husband Henry Ghering and her son Stephen Ghering at her bedside. Other members of her family include a daughter Candace, son-in-law Jim Manning, daughter-in-law Marilyn, grandson Nathan, granddaughter Katie & son-in-law Rhys. Eileen was a senior English teacher for 33 years at Alameda High School in Jefferson County teaching Composition and Shakespeare. During her years at Alameda she was the sponsor for National Honor Society and was selected to be honored as a member of Teachers of America. Eileen graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana and prior to teaching, was on the national staff of Camp Fire Girls. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 2:00 PM at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, 6653 W. Chatfield. Contributions may be made to the Rotary Club of Littleton, P. O. Box 143, Littleton, CO 80160.
