Eileen C. Lauth, 86, of Denver, died January 6, 2011. She is preceeded in death by husband Robert W. (Bob) Lauth and daughter Mary Jane Lauth Moser. Eileen is survived by daughter Nancy Lauth (Ben Greene) of Parker, CO; and grandchildren Nick Bosco-Lauth of Elizabeth, CO and Angela Bosco-Lauth of Ft. Collins, CO. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Sassy. Eileen was born to Edward and Beatrice Connors October 29, 1924 in Schenectady, NY. She married Bob on September 22, 1947 in Schenectady. The couple moved to Denver, spending the rest of their lives in Denver. They were married 58 years. Bob worked for General Electric in Denver. They spent every summer at Grand Lake, Colorado at their trailer. Eileen even learned to fly-fish when she was in her 70s. Eileen was a talented oil painter. She was a dedicated volunteer at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood for over 30 years. Everyone knew her at Swedish. She also volunteered for the Arthritis Foundation. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. She had a delightful sense of humor and was always very positive. Eileen became a world traveler in her 80s. She visited Ireland, then Italy, and finally went on a Mediterranean cruise of Greece, Egypt and Turkey with her daughter Nancy and son-in-law Ben.
