Eileen Marie 'Ike' Rhone

Eileen Marie ""Ike"" Rhone, age 86, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2013. Eileen was born June 2, 1927 in Boston, Massachusetts. She is survived by her son Richard; daughter Johnna; granddaughter Maureen; and many relatives. Eileen graduated with a BA in nursing and served in the U.S. Nurse Cadet Corps. After settling in Denver, she worked as a nurse for the city of Denver for the rest of her career. Eileen loved to read, paint and spend time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her great and somewhat strange sayings, sense of humor and wonderful giving spirit. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, July 2 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado Alzheimer's Association http://www.alz.org/co/in_my_community_donate.asp.
