Eldon W. ""Ed"" Edens of in Denver, Colorado passed away May 4, 2012 after a year and a half battle with melanoma cancer. Survived by his siblings, Von (Louise) Edens and Cheryl (Pete) Forshee and their families. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012, 5:30 PM, with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. Funeral Mass, Thursday, May 10, 2012, 10:00 AM, Holy Family Catholic Church, 4390 Utica Street, Denver, Colorado. Additional services and interment will be in Wichita, Kansas. Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2012, 5:00-7:00 PM, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary, 10515 West Maple, Wichita, Kansas. Graveside Service & Interment will be Saturday, May 12, 2012, 11:00 AM, Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.
