Eleanor Ross Campbell

Eleanor Ross Campbell, a prominent civic leader, died peacefully on July 28. Mrs. Campbell was a long time Chair and then Honorary Chair of Denver Debutante Ball Committee, a board member of the Central City Opera Assn., The Denver Symphony, The Carousel Ball Committee, The United Way, Florence Crittenton Services, and the Junior League of Denver. She is survived by her children, Mary Ricketson, Kathleen Ricketson, Rosanne Ricketson Johnston and Richard Campbell, and by her sister Jane Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard C. Campbell, III and by her son Frank H. Ricketson, IV. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 1pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel located at 1091 South Colorado Boulevard in Denver. Interment at Fairmount Cemetery.
